The Dept. of Agriculture and Industries, General Services Section provides services and support for the other divisions and sections in Agriculture and Industries. These services include the maintenance and disposal of all automotive vehicles owned by the department. When the department purchases a new vehicle, this section creates a maintenance file for it in which to keep track of all expenses accruing to the vehicle during the period it is owned by the department. Contents of these files include a new car record sheet which describes the vehicle and its equipment and the name of the employee to whom it is assisgned, the odometer disclosure statement, license plate receipt, and certificate of title. Copies of repair invoices and equipment purchase invoices (tires, batteries, etc.) are added to the file as necessary.
